Laura joined me for my traditional “bubble tea” at Etcetera.
When she showed me the back of the quilt, I knew I wanted to share it on my blog.Laura and Eileen have never been to Quilt Week, so I can’t wait to show them around. This is just my part of the stuff I’ll “need” in Paducah. After that we were finally able to set up our kitchen studio 😀 !The remaining days were filled with great classes, lectures, vendors, food and fun. Here’s the story, in her own words, and two pictures of the back: I love the way she labeled the back in a post card style.
Notice how the place and date are in the “post mark”! The back is so clever and I love hearing about your process for problem solving!
Other than our trip home, the weather was beautiful. Please email them to me at: [email protected] from central Illinois.
We so enjoyed the lower town area, the murals on the flood wall, and all the wonderful quilts. I know I’ve done this before, but I still find it amazing that I can post to my blog on my laptop, from a truck cruising down the highway at 70 mph, while using my cellphone as a “hotspot” internet connection! Once again I’m on my way to Quilt Week in Paducah, Kentucky. This year my travel partner, Wendy, had the wonderful opportunity to fly to Ireland with her husband and visit their daughter Tori, who is studying in Dublin.
If anyone out there has a Row-by-row you’d like to share, please email me a picture at [email protected]
If you’d like to include a story, that would be icing on the cake 🙂 !
We’ll check into the B&B tomorrow afternoon and the fun will begin. A while ago I presented a program for Common Threads Quilt Guild in Sussex, WI.
